This Privacy Policy applies to pieter.lol and all subdomains of pieter.lol, unless a specific subdomain provides its own privacy notice.

The site is served through Cloudflare. When you visit a page, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site, including:

• Requested URLs and request metadata

Some pages may use a self-hosted instance of Umami Analytics. Other pages may use no analytics.

• Clicks, mouse movement, scrolling, navigation, and form interactions for session replays
• Click and scroll activity for heatmaps

Session replay input fields are masked by default. Additional page content may be masked or excluded depending on the configuration.

Technical request information, including an IP address and user agent, may also be processed to derive session, device, or approximate location information.

Umami does not use analytics cookies and the instance is self-hosted. Data is not sent to Umami Cloud solely because Umami is being used.

Technical data is used to operate, secure, and maintain the site.

Analytics, heatmap, replay, and performance data, where collected, are used to understand site usage, diagnose problems, improve performance, and improve the user experience.

Where the GDPR applies, processing is carried out under an applicable legal basis. Legitimate interests may be relied on for operating, securing, and improving the site. Where consent is required by applicable law, the relevant processing should only take place with that consent.

Cloudflare processes information as part of providing its network and security services. Cloudflare operates a global network, so information may be processed outside your country of residence under its applicable data protection safeguards.

Self-hosted Umami data remains under the control of the site operator.

Cloudflare applies its own retention periods to information processed through its services.

Umami session replays are normally retained for 30 days.

Other self-hosted analytics, heatmap, and performance data may be retained until manually deleted or no longer needed for these purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to its processing.

Analytics data is not intended to directly identify individual visitors, so it may not always be technically possible to associate a particular analytics record with you.
